Prabowo: I'm Inappropriate But Ready To Fight

JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto's presidential candidate (candidate) stated that he is ready to become a leader to continue fighting for the dreams of the heroes who have died in creating justice, prosperity, and prosperity of the Indonesian nation.

"I feel inappropriate actually. I am an ordinary human being full of shortcomings, full of weaknesses; but I am ready and I am willing to continue to fight for justice, for prosperity, for prosperity; I am willing," Prabowo said in his remarks during the declaration of Setia Prabowo volunteers in Jakarta. reported by ANTARA, Saturday, October 7th.

He also appreciated the support of the volunteers, both the Setia Prabowo volunteers who were present and all of their supporting volunteers in the country, because they never stopped providing encouragement and support for him to run in the 2024 presidential election.

According to Prabowo, the independence that can now be enjoyed by all Indonesian people is actually the result of the sacrifices of the community and the heroes who have left without having time to feel free from the shackles of colonialism.

"That struggle will be continued and instilled in the next generation of the nation through democracy in determining the leader appropriately," said Prabowo.

"In a democratic atmosphere like this, there must be someone who carries banners, someone must be willing to be the flag bearer, someone must be willing to lead the improvement of the nation's life; and for that I declare I am ready to lead," he said.

Although supporters continue to influence him, Prabowo also feels inappropriate considering that he is also a human being full of shortcomings.

"I now sometimes feel inappropriate if I am hailed. I feel that it is actually inappropriate, but I understand we now choose a democratic system, one person's democracy, one voice," said Prabowo.

The declaration of the Setia Prabowo volunteers was attended by 1,200 participants who are a network of alumni of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) from the Jabodetabek area.
