Arrest 8 Youths In Central Lombok Involved In Drugs, Police Confiscate 6.16 Grams Of Shabu, Cellphones, Suction Equipment And Money

The Narcotics Unit of the Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) arrested eight youths in an Antique Operation, for being involved in a drug crime case. "The eight people that we have secured, some are users and sellers," said Head of Narcotics at the Central Lombok Police, AKP Dervin Hutabara during a press conference at the local Police office in Praya, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, October 4. In an anti-drug operation from September 18 to October 1, 2023, his party also managed to confiscate 6.16 grams of drug evidence, cellphones, suction devices and money allegedly from the sale of illegal goods. He said the perpetrators of the crime of drug cases were charged with 6 at different places in the Central Lombok Regency area during the 2023 anti-operation. For their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 114 and Article 112 with a legal threat of four years in prison and a maximum of 15 years in prison. "On average, the perpetrators are still easy, there are no minors," he said. He said the eight arrested perpetrators were RY, MS, FS, a resident of Praya District. Then the initials HK, AS, SY, a resident of Janapria District and the initials LM, JM, a resident of West Praya District.

"We are still developing this case to uncover the network of other perpetrators. Because from the perpetrator's confession, this illicit item was purchased outside Central Lombok," he said.
