Gerindra: Prabowo Committed To Fight For Disabilities And MSMEs

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani said General Chair Prabowo Subianto was committed to continuing to fight for the rights of people with disabilities and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This was conveyed by Muzani in a declaration of support for the future presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto by hundreds of MSME traders and people with disabilities in Bandung-Cimahi City, in Bandung City, West Java, Friday, September 15. Muzani expressed his appreciation for this very meaningful support. He emphasized that this mandate of support would be conveyed directly to Prabowo. Moreover, Prabowo had served as General Chair of the Association of Indonesian Market Traders (APPSI). "Pak Prabowo really understands what is the problem of traders and he really understands how to overcome problems in the market," said Muzani in a written statement received by ANTARA in Jakarta. Muzani explained Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Disabilities that the initiator is the Gerindra Party so that the Gerindra Party's commitment to continue to fight for the rights and equality of people with disabilities will continue. "The first disability law to initiate is the Gerindra Party on the orders of Pak Prabowo Subianto. At that time, Mr. Sodik was the chairman of the committee. That's why we thank God, God willing, we understand what our friends hope for in the future," he said. According to Muzani, political power is the key to determining the policies to be issued. One of them is to solve the problems faced by MSME traders such as eviction and relocation, capital problems, and income problems. However, the success of MSMEs brings their own blessings to the improvement of the nation's economy, including problems with disabilities. According to Muzani, this is only a matter of will (political will) which is good to continue to fight for people with disabilities in order to get attention from the state. "These are the problems that our MSME traders often face. We believe that MSMEs are a way to overcome unemployment and improve our economy. For those who succeed, their children can graduate because there is only one parent prayer, they don't want to be like their father, who is only a trader," he said. Muzani said Prabowo had the will and was committed that the power used would later be strengthened to help the small people and the poor. According to him, Prabowo's highest service in the nation and state is to give happiness to the people of Indonesia. "If you are healthy, your child can go to school, you can go to school, you can go to school, you can work, the economy is strong, and you are not unemployed, then Indonesia is strong. In Pak Prabowo's belief, Indonesia is strong if the people are healthy. On the other hand, Indonesia will be weak if the people are unemployed, the people are sick and cannot seek treatment," concluded Muzani.

Meanwhile, member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Gerindra faction, Sodik Mujahid, asked all volunteers to work hard to win Prabowo in Bandung City and Cimahi City. How to do this by "door to door" inviting the surrounding environment to choose Prabowo. "But all of that must be done in good and polite ways. We must avoid conflict because that is Pak Prabowo's main message. Indonesia must respect, must remain united between differences in political choices," he concluded.
