David Ozora's Father Satisfied Mario Dandy-Shane Lukas Was Sentenced To The Maximum

JAKARTA - David Ozora's father, Jonathan Latumaahina, was satisfied with the verdict of the panel of judges against Mario Dandy Satrio and Shane Lukas. Because, both of them were given maximum sanctions. "We hope that the maximum verdict and thank God the two defendants will be sentenced to the maximum," Jonathan told reporters, Thursday, September 7. According to him, the verdict known by the panel of judges reflects justice. Anyone who is guilty must be firmly sanctioned according to his actions. "If you hear the verdict, I think it is enough to represent our search for justice," he said. Meanwhile, regarding the value of restitution which was cut by the panel of judges from Rp120 billion to Rp25 billion, Jonathan did not care. This is because restitution is only considered an additional sanction. However, when speaking subjectively, it is only natural that the two suspects also experience something similar to David Ozora. "Subjectively, if asked whether it is fair or not, I say it is unfair unless he is also in a coma," said Jonathan.

As a reminder, Mario Dandy was sentenced to 12 years in prison and burdened with paying a restitution of Rp. 25 billion. Meanwhile, Shane Lukas was sentenced to 5 years in prison. However, he was not burdened with paying restitution because he was not the main perpetrator.
