BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, built 17 bore wells in the near future to address drought in several areas affected by El Nino.

Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency Burhanudin in Bogor, Wednesday, explained that the construction of the drill well this year was carried out in 17 sub-districts and has entered activities to be carried out this year.

"It must be realized in these weeks. I ordered the sub-district head to communicate intensely with the PUPR Service. It should be implemented immediately to help people with a clean water crisis," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 30.

He said the drilling well construction program sourced from the 2023 APBD of Bogor Regency would be carried out at 13 points, while there were still four other points sourced from special allocation funds (DAK).

A total of 13 points, in Pasirmuncang Village, Caringin District, Cibanteng Village, Ciampea District, Leuwengkolot Village, Cibatok 1 Village, Cibungbulang District, Pasir Angin Village, Cileungsi District, Pagelaran Village, Ciomas District, Sukahati Village, Citeureup District, Babakan Village, Dramaga District.

Cicadas Village, Gunungputri District, Gunungsindur Village, Gunungsindur District, Bantarsari Village, Rancabungur District, Jayahariarja Village, Sukajaya District, and Pabuaran Village, Bojonggede District.
