Police Holds Tactical Floor Game Security At The ASEAN Summit

JAKARTA - The National Police held a Tactical Floor Game (TFG) at the Polda Metro Jaya, today. The activity discussed the readiness of Operation Tribrata Jaya in the context of securing the 43rd ASEAN Summit.

The TFG activity was led by the National Police Headquarters, Komjen Fadil Imran as the Head of Ops. Then attended by the National Police Headquarters Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi and the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto as Deputy Ops officers with other police officers.

"We carry out TFG in order to clarify the tasks, functions, roles that will be carried out during security," Fadil told reporters, Wednesday, August 30.

In the TGF, checking the readiness of personnel, equipment, and technology to support the dynamics during the operation were also carried out.

Then, the various potential obstacles that occur in the process of securing the 43rd ASEAN Summit are also one of the focuses of discussion.

"Including throwing problems if they occur in the field, good coordination, communication and control can occur, especially those related to securing the route which is our scope of responsibility in ring 3," he said.

However, regarding the security scheme that will be implemented, Fadil said he could not convey it. The reason is that it will be discussed first with the TNI and other related parties.

"Because this is very technical in nature for the policy issues, the National Police Chief and the TNI Commander as the person in charge of security will convey it," said Fadil.

The activity of the 43rd Asean Summit in 2023 will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, where the peak of the Summit event will be held from 5 to 7 September 2023.
