Jealous, Papuan Students Stab Girlfriend In Semarang Boarding Room

SEMARANG - A student from Papua named Aldo wrong (21) stabbed his girlfriend out of jealousy. He was jealous after knowing his idol was about to be invited to marry another man.

Her lover, who is also from Papua, Keterina Elizabet, suffered bleeding due to a number of stab wounds to her body.

The incident of this girlfriend stab student occurred in a boarding house located on Jalan Tambak Boyo RT 8/RW 7, Tlogosari Kulon Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City on Sunday morning at around 03.30 WIB.

The Head of the Pedurungan Police, Kompol Dina Novitasari, explained that this incident was triggered because the perpetrator was jealous of the victim.

Initially, the victim and the perpetrator were in the boarding house at around 01.30 WIB. After a while, an argument broke out between the two.

The trigger for the conflict was the victim who was contacted by someone to be invited to marry. Out of blind jealousy, then the perpetrator commits violence against the victim.

First, the victim was called by someone but was not picked up. Then the victim's cellphone was taken by force by the perpetrator, who immediately contacted the person. Then the person said that the victim wanted to marry him, "explained Dina.

After carrying out the stabbing, the perpetrator left the scene to surrender to the police. However, before that, the perpetrator met with the residents and was then secured.

"I kept him at home, I kept reporting to the police and contacting RW and Babinsa. The perpetrator admitted that he was basically jealous. He stabbed his girlfriend in the room," he explained.

The Head of the Pedurungan Police, Dina added, the perpetrator is currently under investigation by the police. During the investigation, it was discovered that the motive for the perpetrator to stabbing was jealousy.

"The temporary motive is jealousy. We have secured the perpetrator to the Pedurungan Police. Currently, the witnesses are still being examined and the victim is being treated medically at the Pantiwilasa Hospital," he said.
