On that occasion, Heru explained that the procurement of battery-based electric service vehicles was in accordance with Presidential Instruction Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Use of Battery-Based Electric Vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicles) as Operational Service Vehicles and/or Individual Vehicles of the Central Government and Regional Government Agencies Service.
