JAKARTA - The Jombang Resort Police, said that the victim of mutilation found in the river in Japanan Village, Mojowarno District, Friday night, August 4, was a woman.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jombang Police, AKP Aldo Febrianto, revealed that he had received the autopsy results conducted by the medical team from the Bhayangkara Kediri Hospital. The file was immediately submitted to him.

"The TKP found the body of a woman aged 25-50 years with the Mojowarno TKP," said Aldo, Antara, Sunday, August 6.

He revealed that the victim had the characteristics of a height of 145 centimeters to 158 centimeters, then had mature sawo skin.

The victim's hair was known from the results of a fine black examination with a length of 33 centimeters. The victim's right thumb was known to be cracked and the soles of the legs were broken.

"From the autopsy results, the victim's size is small, not fat," he said.

He also added that the medical team also continued to carry out DNA test procedures to find out more details about victims.

DNA tests were carried out, because the victim's body had rotted when found. This makes it difficult for medical officers to do an autopsy on the body of the body. For this reason, to find the identity of the victim, a DNA test is carried out.

He also appealed to residents who feel they have lost their family members to report immediately, but so far no one has reported.

The police have also asked for information from three witnesses, consisting of the Japanese Village Head, then a fish finder who found the victim for the first time and a resident whose house was not far from the location where the victim was found.

In addition, the search for body parts of the victim's head which until now has not been found is still ongoing. The team assisted by volunteers made it easier in the search process.

The team has conducted a search at the location of the findings, up to 1 kilometer, but until now the victim's limbs have not been found.

"We are still looking for the victim's limbs. Volunteers also helped search up to 1 kilometer from the location where the victim was found, but at this time it has not been found," he said.
