Mayor Reminds Banda Aceh ASN Not To Hang Out At Warkop During Working Hours

Banda Aceh Mayor Amiruddin asked state civil servants (ASN) and non-ASN within the local municipal government not to hang out at coffee shops during working hours. “ Don't leave the office and the main task is to serve the community, just to hang out at the warkop. I will take firm action if caught, ” said Amiruddin in Banda Aceh, Antara, Tuesday, July 25. He instructed Satpol PP/WH officers and all OPD heads to closely monitor so that state servants do not wander around during working hours, but must serve the community. To the public, it is hoped that they can report to the authorities if they see that the Banda Aceh City Government ASN is hanging out at the warkop. "“Don't hesitate to report, because our job is to serve the community well," he said. Meanwhile, members of the Banda Aceh DPRK, Musriadi, fully support the policy of the Acting Mayor of Banda Aceh to enforce the discipline of civil servants so as not to hang out at coffee shops during working hours. "We hope that Satpol PP/WH can conduct routine raids every day for civil servants who often go out to warkop," said Musriadi. According to Musriadi, this policy is very appropriate for the Banda Aceh City Government, because ASN is a public servant, and must provide professional and quality services.

"We also urge BKPSDM to impose strict sanctions on ASN who violate Government Regulation (PP) Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline (PNS)," said Musriadi.
