PPP Denies Deputy Minister Of Religion Zainut Was Removed Due To His Son Joining Perindo

JAKARTA - Acting (Plt.) General Chairperson (Ketum) of PPP Muhamad Mardiono dismissed the news of Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi's replacement from the position of Deputy Minister of Religion (Wamenag) because his son, Najmi Mumtaza Rabbany, joined the Perindo Party.

"Nothing, we don't exist. Of course, the President, as the person with prerogative rights, yes, of course, makes a decision through a broad defeat, not just from the party," said Mardiono to the media crew after giving a speech at the Campaign Juru (Jurkam) Training Team. Winning President Ganjar Pranowo's Candidate at iNews Tower, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 17, was confiscated by Antara.

Mardiono stated that the reshuffle or reshuffle in the ranks of presidential assistants was a natural thing. He admitted that he had also felt the same way.

"That's a matter of changing it has become a habit," said Mardiono.

Zainut is a PPP cadre. However, on Monday, Zainut was officially replaced by Saiful Rahmat Dasuki as Deputy Minister of Religion. Saiful is Zainut's colleague at PPP.

On Monday, Indonesian President Jokowi inaugurated Saiful Rahmat Dasuki as Deputy Minister of Religion based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia 32 AD in 2023 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy State Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet for the 2019 '2024 Period.

Saiful emphasized that his work would be in line with what President Jokowi and Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas wanted.

Previously, President Jokowi said there was a request from the internal PPP for the replacement.

"There is a request from the party," said President Jokowi when asked about the replacement of the position of Deputy Minister of Religion.
