DIY - Sleman Regent Kustini Sri Purnomo handed over 311 Decree (SK) for Appointment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) for teachers at the elementary kindergarten (SD) level, to junior high schools (SMP).

The handover of the decree was held at the Parasamya Sleman Hall today, Tuesday 27 June.

Head of the Sleman Regency Personnel, Education and Training Agency (BKPP) Budi Pramono said the teacher's PPPK Appointment Decree was based on Decree 3 Minister No. 624 of 2023, No. 2 of 2023 concerning the Second Amendment to the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 1066 2022.

"Currently, the PPPK Identification Number from BKN has been determined for 312 PPPK Teachers in the Sleman Regency Government and an appointment decree has been determined. However, there was one participant who died on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, so that 311 people accepted the decree and took the oath," he said, confiscated by Antara.

The Sleman Regent said all teachers who received the decree had legal certainty, both in their rights and obligations, especially in welfare.

He appealed to PPPK teachers to follow all regulations, provisions, foster discipline, and high work ethic.

"I hope that the addition of the formation of educators from PPPK can improve the quality of education at every level. However, we must realize that the responsibility of educators is not only to formal education, especially to build good children's morals and character," he said.

Kustini invites teachers to continue to study, improve themselves, and develop their potential to improve the quality of the next generation.

"That way it is hoped that a young generation will be born who are moral, intelligent, and of high quality," he said.
