JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Inspector Syaefuloh Hidayat said that his party had coordinated with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the family flexing case of the Head of Traffic Control and Operations and Road Transportation Division of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Massdes Auroffy.

Yesterday, the KPK summoned Massdes to clarify his wealth, which was widely discussed by the public on social media. One of them is the luxury bags that his wife often exhibits.

Today, said Syaefuloh, the KPK examined the authenticity of luxury goods belonging to the Massdes family and was associated with the value of Massdes' wealth in the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN).

"Today the KPK saw the evidence of Mr Massdes in the Inspectorate. There were bags, shoes, and cameras," said Syaefuloh when met at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Wednesday, April 12.

This KPK examination, said Syaefuloh, was carried out after the inspection process at the DKI Inspectorate was completed. From the internal examination of the DKI Provincial Government, the Inspectorate has asked for clarification from Massdes and his wife.

Meanwhile, Massdes' son who also showed off his family's wealth was not checked. "The evidence that we collected a few days ago is enough to draw conclusions," he said.

For information, netizens exposed the behavior of Massdes' wife and children who often uploaded photos of their appearances and accessories, ranging from bags, shoes, to camera lenses.

When traced, the price of bags exhibited by the Massdes family varied, ranging from tens and tens of millions of rupiah. In fact, there was one Hermès bag exhibited by Masdess' wife, if genuine, the price reached Rp1.5 billion.

However, Masdess is recorded to only have assets of IDR 1.8 billion per year 2021. This was revealed in the report on the assets of state officials (LHKPN) reported by Masdes on March 12, 2022.
