The West Java National Narcotics Agency (BNN) stated that it was examining the Head of the Tasikmalaya City BNN who allegedly asked for holiday allowances (THR) for Eid 2023 to the Budiman Tasikmalaya Bus Otobus (PO). "BNNP West Java carried out a series of internal examination processes for the person concerned," said Head of the West Java BNN Brigadier General Arief Ramdhani in his statement in Bandung, West Java, Antara, Wednesday, April 12. According to him, his party always reminds BNN employees in West Java to work according to applicable regulations by always maintaining integrity. "If proven, we will give strict sanctions to those concerned," he said. He admitted that he did not want anything to tarnish the name of the West Java BNN. However, he has not explained the type of sanction given to the Head of the Tasikmalaya City BNN. "We will inform our colleagues of further developments. This is to understand," he said. Previously, leaflets with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Letterhead of Tasikmalaya City, West Java, which contained asking for THR assistance or packages for Lebaran 2023 to bus transportation companies spread across the public and the letter was recognized by BNN, but then withdrew the letter.

The letter, which was signed and labeled on behalf of the Head of the Tasikmalaya City BNN, Iwan Kurniawan Hasyim, was spread across a number of WhatsApp groups of journalists and the people of Tasikmalaya City, Tuesday, April 11.
