SERANG – AHM (22), became a suspect in the ITE crime for violating decency and threats of violence or intimidating personally. The reason is, AHM was proven to have threatened his ex-girlfriend, IK (23) by spreading pornographic videos that he had recorded.

Head of the Cyber ​​Crime Unit of Banten Police, Commissioner Wendy Andrianto explained, AHM threatened IK on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in Pandeglang. At that time, the victim IK received news from her friend, SM, who received a message on social media in the form of a video clip that violated decency. SM said the video was sent by the perpetrator's Instagram account, AHM.

"The perpetrator sent a content that contained violations of decency, and also sent chats in the form of threats of violence and/or intimidation addressed personally to the victim," said Police Commissioner Wendy Andrianto, in a written statement, Monday 27 February.

Based on this, the victim IK made a report to the police. As a result, the officers conducted an examination of the reported party, AHM. And after undergoing the examination process, AHM was proven to have done as alleged by the victim.

"During the examination, the perpetrator admitted that he made the video in 2021. The purpose of the suspect was to save the video and make the video so that the victim would not break up with him. So the video was used as a weapon to date the victim," Wendy added.

Wendy also explained that at the time of making the video, the victim was unconscious because she kept drunk.

"The making of the video was carried out by the perpetrator alone and for the actions of the perpetrator, the victim experienced a psychological disorder and was afraid to leave the house," said Wendy.

Wendy explained, as many as 4 witnesses have been examined. And the police have seized a number of evidence.

"An examination has been carried out on the perpetrators and confiscation of evidence belonging to the perpetrators. Then investigators carry out a case for determining the suspect and detaining the perpetrator," he concluded.
