PAPUA - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of West Papua will immediately evaluate the acceptance affirmation program at the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN).

The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of West Papua Province, Nataniel D Mandacan, hopes that the children of West Papua at IPDN Jatinangor will not do things that are against the internal rules of the campus.

The West Papua Regional Secretary emphasized that he had received reports of the dismissal of five private officers from West Papua from a total of six persons suspected of violating internal rules at the IPDN Campus.

"Of course, this surprised us, because five unscrupulous civil servants were fired, and one was given a lower level sanction. They came from West Papua which was financed through the special autonomy affirmation program (Otsus)," said the Regional Secretary, in Manokwari, Papua Brat, Sunday, September 19.

The Regional Secretary stated that he did not know for sure the type of violation that caused the dismissal of the five civil servants, but this would be the subject of joint evaluation with the provincial and district/city governments.

"There will be a joint evaluation, because the five civil servants are representatives (quotas) of affirmations from districts and cities," he said.

As a senior civil servant, the Regional Secretary, Nataniel Mandacan, hopes that similar incidents will not be repeated by the sons and daughters of West Papua who are currently studying at IPDN.

"You are the future hope of the West Papua Government, never waste this opportunity, let alone disappoint your parents," said the Regional Secretary.

Previously, the chairman of the cultural institution of the West Papuan People's Council (MRPB) Maxsi Nelson Ahoren stated that he had formed a team to investigate the dismissal of the five IPDN officers from West Papua.

"The MRPB committee has been formed, they will meet with the IPDN Chancellor with the Ministry of Home Affairs to discuss sanctions up to the dismissal of these five West Papuan civil servants," said Maxsi Nelson Ahoren.
