A Young Girl Found Dead At A Hotel Around Senen Central Jakarta, Turned Out To Be A Prostiitue, Revealed After The Perpetrator Was Arrested At Palmerah Station

JAKARTA - The suspect in the murder accompanied by the robbery of a woman with the initials AF (18) was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Senen Police, Monday, July 25, evening.

The suspect with the initials HR (23) was arrested at Palmerah Station when he was about to flee to Parung, Bogor.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Komarudin said AF was arrested within 4 hours after the victim was found dead.

"After killing the victim, the perpetrator fled. But we managed to catch him at the station," said Grand Commissioner Komarudin to VOI, Monday, July 25, at around 23.00 western Indonesia time.

Grand Commissioner Komarudin explained that the murder incident began when perpetrator HR was staying at a hotel in the Senen area, on Monday, July 25, 2022, in the early hours of the morning. After being in the hotel room, the perpetrator ordered massage services through the michat application.

"The motive of the murder, the perpetrator said, as the protest for the services provided by the victim," he said.

Before being killed, AF admitted that he had had a riot with the victim and beat the woman one time. Not only that, but the perpetrator also snared the victim's neck with a mattress rope.

"There is a wound on the victim's neck. After she died, the perpetrator took the victim's jewelry in the form of a necklace, two rings, and an ID card to eliminate the victim's identity," he said.

Komarudin explained that the report of this murder started with the suspicion of the hotel cleaner.

The reason is that the room used by the perpetrator and the victim did not open until the check-out time was up.

AF was found dead in a prone position.

In order to account for his actions, the suspect was charged with multiple articles. The perpetrator was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code for murder and 365 paragraph three regarding theft with a penalty of 15 years imprisonment.

Previously, it was reported that a teenage girl with the initials AML (18) was found dead in Laura's hotel room, 5th floor, room number 505, Kramat Raya Street, Senen, Central Jakarta.

It is suspected that the victim was killed by his date.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Senen Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police Ganang Agung, confirmed that there was an alleged murder incident at the hotel. The discovery of the body for the first time was by the hotel cleaners.

"We received a report from the hotel staff that there was a body in the room. Then we checked for identification and further investigation," said Ganang when interviewed, Monday, July 25.
