JAKARTA - The Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, General Andika Perkasa, received a visit from a senior Australian military officer, the Chief of the Royal Australian Air Force. The meeting took place at the National Armed Forces (TNI) Headquarters.
Air Marshal Melvin Ernest Glanville Hupfeld's visit met with the TNI Commander to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two Air Forces.
The meeting between the TNI Commander and the Chief of the Royal Australian Air Force discussed various cooperations that have been achieved by the two Air Forces. This meeting also discussed the joint training plan between the two Air Forces which will be carried out this year.

At the end of the meeting, Panglima Andika and Air Marshal Melvin exchanged souvenirs. Air Marshal Melvin gave one of the souvenirs in the form of a large coin commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Australian Air Force.
