JAKARTA - Britain's Queen Elizabeth II received Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Windsor Castle on Monday, in her first official in-person meeting after she tested positive for the coronavirus last month.

The palace announced on February 20 that the Queen, 95, had tested positive for COVID-19, heightening concerns about the health of the world's longest-reigning leader, two weeks after he marked 70 years on the throne in Britain.

PM Trudeau is in the UK for talks with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the international response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Asked later at a press conference in Downing Street about his meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, PM Trudeau said: "He was insightful and sharp as always, very interested in what was going on, asking all sorts of questions about Canada.
"We had very useful conversations, for me, about global events, as we always do," she said.

In addition to a gesture of support for Ukraine at the meeting, Queen Elizabeth II previously made a donation to the Disaster Emergency Committee to help people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.
