In A Week, COVID-19 Patients At Wisma Atlet Hospital Kemayoran Added 1.875 People

JAKARTA - The number of positive COVID-19 patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital continues to grow. In a week, from Tuesday, January 25 to Tuesday, January 1, there were 1.875 additional patients.

A total of 4.814 patients who were confirmed positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) were still being treated at the Kemayoran Athlete's Wisma Emergency Hospital until Tuesday.

"The number of patients has increased by 224," said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, head of Information for the Joint Defense Region I Command, in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 1.

Aris explained that the number of patients under treatment on Monday, January 31 was 4.590 people. Patients who entered came from the DKI Jakarta area. Aris explained that the COVID-19 patients were being treated in towers 4, 5, and 6. The patients were treated with mild symptoms. RSDC Wisma Atlet has a total of 7,894 rooms for four patient care towers.

For the recapitulation of patients from 23 March 2020 to 1 February 2022, a total of 140.660 patients were registered. Where 135,846 patients have been discharged with details of 134.156 declared cured, 1,094 were referred to other hospitals and 596 people died.

Meanwhile, at the Pademangan Athlete's Wisma Emergency Hospital, 1.134 inpatients, who were self-quarantined as of Tuesday. That number decreased by 264 people compared to Monday, January 31, which was 1.398 people.

The Coordinator of the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Major General National Armed Forces (TNI) Budiman, invites all parties to continue to carry out health protocols in a disciplined manner. According to him, vigilance by complying with the 5M health protocol is the most important thing so that COVID-19 cases do not rise again.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, issued an instruction to extend the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) for the Java and Bali regions.

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued an Instruction from the Minister of Home Affairs regarding PPKM as stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 06 of 2022 for Java-Bali Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). The Inmendagri is valid from February 1, 2022, to February 7, 2022. The Inmendagri is an extension of the Inmendagri concerning PPKM which has been stated in Inmendagri Number 5 of 2022.
