Tangerang Regency Education Council Encourages Regional Language Curriculum To Be Implemented In New Teachings
TANGERANG - The Regional Education Council of Tangerang Regency encourages all elementary and junior high school levels to implement a local language content curriculum for students in 2024/2025 to maintain the language of local wisdom which is now decreasing and threatened with extinction.
"We encourage this to become an obligation for one day to use regional languages that have not been initiated by the Education Office," said Head of the Tangerang Regency Education Council, Dr. Mas Iman Kusnandar, Monday, December 23.
He believes that the application of the local language content curriculum in this region can change the current generation to understand their respective cultures, especially in Banten.
