TRIPATRA Supports Pupuk Kaltim Press Emissions And Adoption Of Environmentally Friendly Technology Through The Amonia-2 Factory Update Project
JAKARTA - PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructioners (TRIPATRA), a leading engineering engineering-based solution provider in Indonesia, is trusted to support PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) in an effort to adopt environmentally friendly technology that is more efficient in energy consumption so as to increase the competitiveness of the national fertilizer production process.
This effort was marked by the signing of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the Revamping project or Amonia-2 Factory Update, which is the oldest factory of PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim) which has been operating since 1984, which was carried out recently at the Pupuk Kaltim Jakarta Office.
The signing of the EPC contract for the Amonia-2 Factory Update project was carried out by the President Director & CEO of TRIPATRA, Raymond Naldi Rasfuldi together with the President Director of Pupuk Kaltim, Budi Wahju Soesilo who was also witnessed directly by the President Director of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Rahmad Pribadi and President Commissioner of Pupuk Kaltim, Eka Sastra.
TRIPATRA President Director & CEO, Raymond Naldi Rasfuldi, expressed his gratitude for being trusted to be able to assist and support the business objectives of PT Pupuk Kaltim and also PT Pupuk Indonesia through the Amonia-2 Factory Update project.

In the Amongia-2 Factory Update project, there are two things that are the focus of TRIPATRA. First is security and safety to ensure that all those participating in this project can be guaranteed safety. And second, to ensure the objective business of Pupuk Kaltim and also Pupuk Indonesia can be achieved, especially in terms of energy efficiency and also optimization of emissions at the Amongia-2 Factory factory.
In addition to increasing production efficiency, the factory update project is also targeted to reduce gas consumption which has an impact on reducing CO2 emissions. Through this update project, it is hoped that East Kalimantan Pupuk will be able to reduce energy consumption by 4 MMBtu/tonne ammonia, thus reducing CO2 emissions equivalent to reducing emissions by 110,000 tons of equivalent CO2 per year.
