Receiving The Ministry Of Health Award, Landson Is More Confident In Using Domestic Raw Materials
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) gave awards to a number of figures and industry players in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices at the 59th National Health Day Exhibition which was held with the theme Health Transformation for Advanced Indonesia, on 9-11 November 2023.
The official event was opened by Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin at the Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 9. This series of events for the opening of the 2023 HKN Exhibition include the launch of superior medicinal plants, and the Presidential Decree on the Development and Utilization of Jamu. Among the players in the Pharmaceutical Industry, PT Pertiwi Agung (Landson) is one of the pharmaceutical companies that received an award for implementing the change source, using domestically produced raw materials.
President Director of PT Pertiwi Agung, Fera Damayanti, said that in line with the government's vision to realize the independence of domestic pharmaceutical preparations, Landson has utilized the change source facility, namely the change of sources of imported raw materials with raw materials for domestic production.
"We really support this change source movement, because it is very useful in the long term and has a positive impact on health services and the community," said Fera in a media statement, Friday, November 10.
The change Source launched by Health Minister Budi G Sadikin on June 2, 2022, is a facility provided by the government to encourage pharmaceutical industry players to replace imported raw materials with raw materials for domestically produced drugs. Through this program, the government targets an increase in the number of medicinal products with TKDN >52% as a priority in procurement, especially for the procurement of government goods/services.

This movement is in line with the mandate of Presidential Instruction Number 2 of 2022, concerning the acceleration of increasing the use of domestic products and products of micro-enterprises, small businesses, and cooperatives in order to make the National Movement Proud to be Made in Indonesia (BBI) a success. The National BBI movement itself is expected to encourage the spirit of Indonesia's economic growth, create jobs, and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market.
