Ex-Husband Katy Perry, Russell Brand Reported Sexual Harassment In Set Film Arthur
JAKARTA - Russell Brand has again received a sexual harassment lawsuit from a non-celebrity. A woman who referred to herself as Jane Doe sued the actor at the New York Court.
Citing The Independent, the woman claimed to have received this unpleasant treatment on the set of the 2010 film Arthur. The lawsuit comes six weeks after Brand was reported by four women on the same charge.
Arthur's film was released in 2011 which tells of a man named Arthur (Russell Brand) who marries a woman so as not to lose his money. However, he falls in love with a woman which makes it difficult for him to choose between love or money.
The woman who sued Katy Perry's ex-husband admitted to anonymously suing him because she was still working in the entertainment industry. Jane Doe said Brand looked drunk and smelled alcohol when he came to the shooting location.
Sexual harassment occurred on the same day I was in the bathroom. Mr. Brand came in after me and attacked me, while the members of the production crew guarded the door from the outside," read a written statement.
"As a result of sexual harassment, I suffer and continue to experience extraordinary shame, shame, and fear. I am worried that my identity is known to the public regarding claims of sexual harassment, shame, shame, and fear will get worse," he said.

"Because this case involves a celebrity, I'm also worried that this case will attract the attention of many people, which will only exacerbate feelings of shame and fear, which causes irreparable damage to my mental health," the woman continued.
This woman also included Warner Bros Pictures as a defendant in the case. He said the production house was negligent and helped Brand in the shooting location.
The lawsuit was reported under the state's Adult Survivors Act, which gives victims one year to prosecute for sexual harassment even though the restrictions have passed.
Since his first case, Russell Brand has denied all the accusations that have been thrown at him. He has also long stopped appearing in the mainstream media and chose to focus on building his social media.
YouTube stated that it had stopped earnings from Brand videos. The celebrity then transferred the entire video to the Rumble account.
Russell Brand has not responded to his latest lawsuit.
