Prabowo: All Parties Including PDIP There Is A Political Dynasty
JAKARTA - The presidential candidate from the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Prabowo Subianto, has again responded to the assumption that the political dynasty is currently being built by President Joko Widodo's family.
According to Prabowo, the current phenomenon of the poltic dynasty is a natural thing. In fact, according to him, many party politicians have built political dynasties.
This was conveyed by Prabowo after attending the declaration of presidential and vice-presidential candidates announced by the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).
"So, many times for the nation's education. A political dynasty is a natural thing. If we are honest, you can see in all parties, including PDIP, there is a political dynasty and it is not negative," Prabowo said at Djakarta Theater, Tuesday, October 24.
Prabowo also defended Jokowi, who was considered to perpetuate his power through dynastic political practices. In fact, he admitted that his family also carried out political dynasties to build the nation and state.
"I am from a political dynasty, I am his son Soemitro Djojohadikoesoemo, I am his grandson Margono Djojohadikoesoemo. We are dynastic in the sense that our families always fight for the people," said Prabowo.

Prabowo appealed to all parties to see the positive side of the meaning of political dynasties.
"My parents' two younger siblings died for the republic. So we take a positive understanding from the definition of a political dynasty is a patriotic family, a family that wants to serve the country and nation. What's wrong with it? Don't politicize it," he continued.
Recently, the term political dynasty has often been pinned to Jokowi's family, after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) paved the way for Jokowi's son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka to run as a candidate for vice president in the 2024 presidential election.
The Constitutional Court's decision was considered to have a conflict of interest, because Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman was Joko Widodo's brother-in-law, until finally Jokowi was accused of wanting to build a political dynasty by perpetuating the power of his family.
