Victims Of The Papuan KKB Attack In Eromaga District Are Not Aware That Their Fingers Have Broken While Escape
PAPUA - One of the witnesses and victims of the Papuan KKB attack on Omukia Health Center workers, Eromaga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, Martinus Bala admitted that the incident took place suddenly.KKB came and immediately entered the tent of workers carrying out attacks using machetes, arrows and pistols. This made the workers panic and run to save themselves."As soon as the KKB members fired their weapons we immediately ran away, I didn't even know if the finger had been cut off and bleeding," said Martinus Bala, quoted from Antara, Friday, October 20.There were three victims in the KKB attack. In detail, two people were injured and one person named Otto (37) died.Head of the Cartenz Peaceful Public Relations Task Force AKBP Bayu Suseno said the victims had been evacuated to Timika today."It is true that the victims have been evacuated, both the bodies, the survivors and those who were injured using two planes," he said in Jayapura.
Bayu explained that Otto's body on Saturday, October 21 tomorrow will be flown to Makassar and then buried in his hometown in Toraja.
