Tesla Cybertruck Will Be Sent To Customers On November 30 At Austin's Gigafactory Factory

JAKARTA - Tesla Cybertruck has finally released a delivery date to its customers. This is known, according to a company post on platform X (previously Twitter). Along with today's third-quarter earnings report, Tesla announced that the long-delayed Cybertruck electric pickup will begin its delivery at the November 30 event at Austin's Gigafactory plant, Texas.

On Tesla's earnings call Wednesday evening, October 18, CEO Elon Musk said that increased production for the Cybertruck would be very difficult. Musk said Tesla is targeting a quarter of a million Cybertruck units per year in the future, but that won't happen until 2024.

In recent months, Cybertruck has started to appear on the road, all labeled RCs for testing or as prototype vehicles. The company previously said there would be a delivery event on K3, but that never happened.

This year, Tesla said that limited production of the Cybertruck will begin this summer, and mass production will begin in 2024. Tesla appears to have successfully removed at least one Cybertruck unit at the plant in July.

Cybertruck was originally announced in 2019, but production was delayed several times during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company failed to hit its initial pre-production target in 2021.

Since its original announcement, other automotive manufacturers have followed, releasing their own electric pickups, including Ford with the F-150 Lightning and Rivian with the R1T. However, public interest in the Cybertruck remains high despite the huge delays and windshield wipers that still look unrealistic that it may be used in the final design.
