Alluding To The Prophet Muhammad About The Decision Of The Age Of The Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates, Rieke Diah Pitaloka Calls The Constitutional Court Judge Sesat Think
PDI-P politician Rieke Diah Pitaloka assessed that Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Anwar Usman was misguided to think because he had said, Prophet Muhammad SAW appointed warlord Muhammad al-Fatih to fight Byzantine forces. In fact, said Rieke, the period between the Prophet Muhammad and Muhammad al-Fatih was hundreds of years apart.
This was said by Rieke in response to the words of the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court regarding the lawsuit on the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates which was decided today.
"Nabi Muhammad SAW died in 12 Rabiul Awal year 11 H or June 632 M. Meanwhile, the time of Muhammad Al Fatih's empire began in 1444-146 AD and 1451-181 M," said Rieke, quoted from the Instagram account @riekediahp, Monday, October 16.
Rieke assessed that if Usman made this a legal consideration, it was strongly indicated that it was a mistake in thinking.
"It is strongly indicated that it is a 'fallacy argumentum ad verecun silence' in a court decision. It is strongly indicated that it is an inappropriate legal reason, because the use of authority cannot be justified based on law science," he said.
This, continued Rieke, resulted in the validity of the ruling which was a conclusion, which could be canceled.
"Your Excellency @mahkamahconstitution of the hammer in Your Majesty's hands, the decision that you think is legally correct. However, once again with all my humility the layman of law and a Muslim who still has to learn a lot: don't bring up the Prophet Muhammad in the statement of His Majesty @mahkamahconstitution," said Rieke.
Previously, the viral statement by Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman talked about the figure of a young leader when he was a speaker at an event.

Usman gave an example of Muhammad al-Fatih, the conquest of Islam. However, he said Muhammad al-Fatih was appointed by the Prophet Muhammad at the age of a dozen years. In fact, the life span of the two is hundreds of years apart.
"The age problem, the minimum limit, once again, I don't mean this. God willing, the examination has been completed, I just have to wait for the verdict. I have given an example earlier, how the Prophet Muhammad appointed a warlord, a teenager, Muhammad Al-Fatih who was against Byzantine rule, broke into colonialism, who is now an Istanbul. How old is he, 17 years old. I don't mention this, whatever the decision is, yes. Don't be associated first, this is not allowed," said Anwar Usman.
