Chrysler Car Caught Fire At Shell Bintaro Gas Station, South Jakarta, Firefighters Take Action
JAKARTA - A luxury Chrysler car with police number T-1864-RJ caught fire at a gas station on Jalan RC Veteran Raya, Bintaro, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta caught fire. It is suspected that the silver car had an electrical short circuit in the engine.
Head of the South Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. Syamsul Huda confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 10, at 09.43 WIB.
"It's true, the object that caught fire was a Chrysler car. It is suspected that there was an electrical short in the engine," said Syamsul in his statement, Tuesday, October 10.
Syamsul explained that the incident began when the car owner, Julianto, intended to refuel at a gas station in the Bintaro area, South Jakarta. Arriving at the location, his car emitted an unpleasant odor until finally the fire appeared.

The fire suddenly grew. Shell gas station officers were quick to extinguish the fire using APAR," he said.
Furthermore, Julianto contacted the fire department for further action.
"Departed to the location at 09.45 WIB. The fire was localized at 09.55 WIB. After the blackout, 10.02 WIB," he said.
Syamsul confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident. However, the loss is estimated at up to Rp. 100 million.
