KPK Reveals 3 Clusters In The Ministry Of Agriculture's Corruption Case: Extortion, Gratification And Money Laundering
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that there are three clusters of investigations into alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan). Among them are extortion related to positions to alleged money laundering (TPPU).
"It has been conveyed, yes, the article is 12 e, extortion in office. (Then, red) the latest information from fellow investigators has also been applied other articles, namely articles on allegations of gratification and also criminal acts of money laundering," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 2.
"So I think the questions of the three clusters have been answered, yes, extortion in office, then gratification and money laundering offenses," he continued.
Ali did not want to elaborate on the suspect in this case. He only said that any developments would be made to the public.
Even so, it was reported that the Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono, and Director of Agricultural Equipment of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta were dragged into this case.
"Later, we will update the progress regarding the technical continuation of the case material, etc. while walking. Because this is still in progress," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK raised the status of alleged corruption at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) to investigation. The KPK team has searched the official residence of Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo in Widya Chandra, South Jakarta. During the search, tens of billions of rupiah were found and firearms in the form of pistols. The KPK said the investigators would analyze the findings of the money for confiscation. Meanwhile, firearms will be taken care of by the police.
Then, investigators have searched the Ministry of Agriculture's Office. As a result, documents allegedly related to the corruption case are being handled.
