Indicator Survey Calls Not Qualifying Senayan, PPP Optimistic To Escape Parliament
JAKARTA - The United Development Party (PPP) responded to the results of the Indicator survey which stated that the Kaaba Party was predicted not to qualify for parliament. The chairman of the PPP DPP Achmad Baidowi (Awiek), assessed that PPP always passed even though it was predicted to be below the parliamentary threshold. "We emphasize that PPP always passes to parliament even though it is photographed and does not pass. Because PPP wants to pass the election, not passing the survey," said Awiek, Monday, October 2. However, the PPP spokesman said that his party would make the results of this Indicator survey an evaluation material. "We have used the results of the Political Indicator survey as evaluation material in the next winning step," he said. Awiek said, PPP appreciates the results of the Indicator survey, although it is different from the results of internal surveys and other survey institutions. Because according to him, the sample of Indicators surveys was taken when PPP candidates had not yet massively moved in the field. "When sampling was carried out at the PPP candidate position, the PPP had not moved massively because it had not yet entered the DCT stage. If the survey was carried out at the time the DCT had been announced and everything moved we believe the results would be much better," said Awiek.
