Hit By Strong Winds 2 Trees As High As 17 Meters In Ciracas Collapsed, 4 Residents' Houses Were Damaged
As a result of strong winds, two large Chinese pete types suddenly fell on 4 houses on Jalan SMA 58, RT 07/03, Ciracas Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 28, evening.
The two large trees fell after being hit by strong winds that kept blowing. Moreover, tree conversion has been exposed. A total of 4 houses damaged were known to belong to Kawit, Heri, Agus and Leman.
The collapse of the tree was discovered by Heri, one of the homeowners who was relaxing in his house.
"Suddenly there was a strong wind and a rumbling sound was heard. It didn't take long for the tree behind the house to fall on the house," he told officers, Thursday night, September 28.
For further handling, the four residents whose houses were affected reported to the Fire Department for requests for the evacuation process for tree cutting.
Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaeman said his party had deployed 1 rescue team containing 4 personnel to evacuate trees.

As a result of the collapse of the Chinese pete tree, the owner suffered a loss of Rp. 10 million. Meanwhile, there were no casualties or injuries.
"The cause of the tree fell because it was fragile and strong winds. The evacuation of trees also collaborated with the Forestry Service of Ciracas Village and PPSU of Ciracas Village," he said.
