PMN 2023 Worth IDR 10 Trillion Rejected, This Is The Explanation Of The Boss Of PLN
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission VI Martin Manurung asked why the 2023 State Capital Participation (PMN) for PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN worth Rp10 trillion was rejected by Commission XI DPR.
This was conveyed by Martin in a hearing meeting with PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo, at Commission VI of the DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 20.
"I want to ask you who is busy. Is it true that the Rp10 trillion that has been approved has not been approved now? You proposed Rp5.8 trillion in 2024. Now, the Rp10 trillion that has been approved (PMN 2023) is it really rejected by the President Director?, "said Martin.
Martin then asked why PMN 2023 was rejected for the state stun company. In fact, this PMN award was approved beforehand.
"What's the reason, sir?" he asked again.
Responding to this, PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said the proposal for PMN from PLN refers to a road map.
Then in the process, PMN 2023 already has a budget allocation of IDR 10 trillion through the APBN.
However, continued Darmo, in the provisions for the disbursement of PMN 2023 there is an arrangement that the Ministry of Finance can disburse it first after going through an in-depth study at Commission XI of the DPR RI.
"For that, on September 13, we explained and indeed in the process there is a view that the disbursement cannot be approved, sir," Darmo explained.
Even so, he continued, his party had also started working on the village electricity project by referring to the provision of the 2023 PMN.
"We ourselves have (made) planning in that process, it is mature and we have spent around Rp. 2 trillion of funds out of Rp. 10 trillion. This is what we are the challenge we are currently facing on a regulatory basis," he explained.

Darmo, Darmawan's nickname, added that the project work had already started from early 2023 and would be paid at the end of the 2023 tanun.
"Usually meksnism from previous years is indeed (so), because the payment (disbursement) from PMN is at the end of the year, sir," he said.
He explained that the reason for not being approved regarding PMN 2023 to his company was because the DPR decided to allocate its budget through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
"Then in the process, the directive was that the budget allocation was handed over to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources," he said.
