TERNATE - The Ternate Class II Harbormaster Office and Port Authority (KSOP) proposed a budget of IDR 12 billion for the repair of the Ant Mangga Dua Port pier in Ternate City. The proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).
"The survey team has gone down and has seen the condition of the damage to the arrival room at the port pier in the southern part of Ant Mangga Dua Port in South Ternate District," said Head of KSOP Class II Ternate, Rushan Muhammad in Ternate, North Maluku (Malut), Monday, September 18, confiscated by Antara.
The budget proposal follows the damaged passenger arrival room, so the public has complained about it in recent months. The condition of the arrival room of the dock can endanger the safety of the community when descending at the pier of Semut Mangga Dua Port.
"If the budget has been realized, we will immediately repair the dock more modern, so that it can last longer, because the dock was built in 2015 now with the age of 8 years, but the facilities have been damaged," said Rushan.
