Comfortable To Be A Director, Umay Shahab: I Will Keep Playing

JAKARTA - The actor whose real name is Muhammad Arfiza Shahab or Umay Shahab has successfully worked on his latest series entitled I Do (n't) Love Him in collaboration with Viu. In this series, Umay collaborates with Prilly Latuconsina, Gemi Nastiti to Cinta Brian to play a role in this series.

Previously Umay had launched a film entitled 'Ku Kira Kau Rumah' which 2 million viewers had successfully watched. Now he is back as a director. When asked to choose a director or become a player, Umay replied that he was comfortable as a director.

"Now maybe because of the target, the target is to be more fun with the director. But that doesn't mean I finally want to stop playing. I want to keep playing but now I can be more selective because I think for the next 10 years my main focus will be on Sinemaku Pictures," said Umay Shahab in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 14.

He also admitted that for now he will often be behind the scenes both as a director and producer. Even so, this 22-year-old man will not leave his career as an actor.

"Yes, so now maybe more behind the scenes, ether is the director or producer, but because I also like to act. So I will continue to play," he concluded.
