US Vice President Kamala Harris And Australian PM Arrive In Indonesia Attend The ASEAN Summit
JAKARTA - United States Vice President Kamala Harris arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, to attend the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta.
Based on information from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat published in Jakarta, Kamala arrived at around 22.00 WIB, Tuesday, September 5.
Kamala's presence at Soekarno-Hatta Airport was welcomed by the Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
Previously, the plane carrying Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his delegation landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at around 20.15 WIB.
Albanese was greeted by the Consular Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Simon Djatwoko Irwantoro Soekarno. Furthermore, Albanese and the delegation immediately left the airport to continue other activities.

Kamala and Albanese are scheduled to attend a series of ASEAN Summit activities held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/9).
The United States and Australia are Mitra Wicara ASEAN as countries and international organizations that are partners with ASEAN in various fields.
There are 12 ASEAN Mitra Wicara (Dialogue Partners), apart from the United States and Australia, namely India, Britain, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Russia, New Zealand, the People's Republic of China, and the European Union.
