The Action Of Recording In The Women's Toilet STMM Yogyakarta Was Traced By The Yogyakarta Regional Police

Yogyakarta Special Region Police (DIY) conducted an investigation into a case of alleged sexual harassment at the Yogyakarta Multi Media High School (STMM).

"We have carried out an investigation, the information is on social media," said Director of the Ditreskrimum Polda DIY Kombes Pol. FX Endriadi at the DIY Police Headquarters, Sleman Regency, DIY, Tuesday, September 5, confiscated by Antara.

Endriadi said the Yogyakarta Regional Police had received an official report related to the alleged sexual harassment case.

However, Endriadi was not willing to reveal further about the case that allegedly occurred in the STMM environment.

"We will convey the data later," he said.

Previously, the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) Hary Budiarto confirmed the formation of a fact-finding team (TPF) at STMM Yogyakarta to trace the news of alleged sexual harassment in the campus environment.

Meanwhile, Chairman of STMM Yogyakarta Noor Iza said his institution through the team formed had obtained reports related to allegations of sexual harassment within the STMM environment and immediately carried out a series of investigations.

In addition to following up on complaints, said Noor, the internal team also functions to provide assistance for students suspected of being victims of sexual harassment.

Noor said that his party had asked for information from a number of students who reported or were suspected of being victims of the alleged sexual harassment.

"Maybe four people were questioned, but what I really did check was the focus of two people. One person actually, the other one was the companion," he said.

According to the information from a number of reporters, he continued, it will be the basis of the STMM internal team to investigate who the alleged perpetrator is.

Previously, Yogyakarta STMM BEM through their official Instagram account @bemstmmyk, Thursday, August 31, uploaded information on allegations of sexual harassment on campus.

Based on the upload of the account, the sexual harassment incident occurred on Wednesday, August 28 in the women's toilet of the Sociocultural Building, STMM Yogyakarta.

"There are several individuals who are recording irresponsibly in the women's toilet of the Sociocultural Building," the account wrote in its upload.

The action of the person is said to have claimed as many as four people without being explained in detail who they were.
