Gibran Admits That The Network Of TPN Chairman Arsjad Rasjid Is Very Wide

Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka acknowledged that the Head of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo, Arsjad Rasjid, has a wide network because of his background as an entrepreneur.

Gibran also believes that the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is able to increase Ganjar's electability, who will run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election.

"The general chairman of Kadin Kannetworking is very wide," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 5.

However, he admitted that he had not received any directions regarding the winning strategy for Ganjar. He also admitted that he was not included in the structure of the core team for Ganjar's victory.

"Not yet (receiving directions, ed.). The core team or not we continue to work to win the presidential candidate, don't worry," he said.

Meanwhile, the appointment of Arsjad Rasjid was held in a meeting between PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, Hanura Party Chairperson Oeman Sapta Odang, Plt Chairman of PPP Muhamad Mardiono, and Perindo Chairman Harry Tanoesoedibjo at the PDI-P DPP Office, Jakarta, Monday (4/9).

Harry Tanoesoedibjo said Arsjad was a figure that could be accepted by all parties.

"Pintar, muda, jaringannya luas dan ketua umum Kadin juga. Itu yang saya rasa paling penting," imbuhnya.
