Not Officially Debuted, Seunghan RIIZE Apologizes For Kiss Photos In Kasur Circulating

JAKARTA - K-pop group RIIZE has not officially debuted yet, but the challenge of starting to explore their career in sight. The public was shocked by the photo of one of the members, Seunghan, who was seen kissing someone on the bed.

The photos made RIIZE, especially Seunghan, drawn criticism. A few days after the photo circulated, Seunghan released an apology to the public for his past.

This is Seunghan RIIZE. I am writing this because I feel I have to tell you before standing in front of fans. First, I sincerely apologize to the fans who support RIIZE," Seunghan wrote on Wednesday, August 30.

Seunghan admitted the photos could harm his group ahead of its debut in September. He also regrets not immediately giving an explanation after the photo circulated on the internet.

"I harmed the team in an important time ahead of my debut and disappointed members and staff. I also regret not apologizing quickly because I was worried and scared," said Seunghan again.

"Without leaving room to blame anyone, all of this happened because of my negligence, and I reflect on my past," he continued.

The 19-year-old man promised to prioritize RIIZE in the future. He also promised that in the future, fans would only see the good side.

"I will be careful not only on stage as RIIZE but on various occasions. I will do my best so that you feel the sincerity of the team and fans through my actions," he said.

On the same day, SM Entertainment as the agency announced that it was gathering various evidence related to those who distributed the photos, including spreading them again. This is considered a violation of the privacy of RIIZE members.

"We will submit a report on the confirmed case and we ask not to be involved in this case. Seunghan reflected on making fans and causing harm to the team ahead of his debut," the agency said.

RIIZE is scheduled to debut on September 4, 2023 with a single album. On September 23, they also made their first appearance at the SMTOWN JAKARTA 2023 SMCU PALACE concert.

RIIZE also consists of Eunseok (22), Won Bin (21), Seung Han (19), So Hee (19), and Anton (19). Shotaro and Sungchan who previously joined NCT will join this group.
