Wow, 95 Central Jakarta City Government Official Vehicles Turned Out To Be Unqualified Emission Test Results
A total of 95 official vehicles belonging to Central Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) employees did not pass the emission test when they followed the emission check initiated by the Central Jakarta Environmental Service Sub-dept. (Sudin LH) on Wednesday, August 30.
"Most of the official vehicles that did not pass the emission test were diesel fueled," said Head of the Central Jakarta Environment Sub-dept., Slamet Riyadi when confirmed, Wednesday, August 30.
Slamet Riyadi said vehicles that did not pass the emission test were mostly old vehicles and did need service care. Then, vehicles that did not pass the emission test were asked to provide services.
"Gas throw away the official vehicle has passed the threshold. The vehicle must carry out a re-emission test until it passes," he said.
Previously, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency, Asep Kuswanto, said that the ticket for motorized vehicles that had not or did not pass the emission test in Jakarta would be applied on September 1.

"We are working with Polda Metro Jaya, POM TNI, the plan is to hold a ticket for the emission test as of September 1, 2023," said Asep at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 22.
Before the ticket is enforced, the DKI Provincial Government together with the police and the TNI will test the implementation of the emission test ticket. The DKI Provincial Government and the police will form a task force to conduct raids and impose sanctions on motorized vehicle owners who have not carried out emission tests.
