Create A Surprise, V BTS Releases 3 Solo Songs Digitally Created

JAKARTA - V BTS has officially released three digitally available solo songs starting today, Monday, August 28. The three songs are SCnery, Winter Bear, and Snow Flower along with their newest artwork.

Previously, V or Kim Tae Hyung released the songs through the SoundCloud and YouTube sites. These three songs were released after V started his career with a solo track some time ago.

SCEnery's song became the first release V she wrote herself in January 2019. In the same year, she also released the Winter Bear.

Then, he composed the song Snow Flower where he collaborated with Peakboy which was launched in December 2020.

These three songs can now be heard by fans through the digital website Melon, VIBE, FLO or international streaming.

The release of these three songs took place a week before the release of his solo album, Layover, which was scheduled for release on September 8.

V marked his solo debut by releasing two songs, namely Rainy Days and Love Me Again. In addition, he also has several songs, namely Blue, Slow Dancing, For Us, and Slow Dancing (Piano Version).

In making his solo album, V BTS collaborated with ADOR's creative director, Min Hee Jin. The figure of Min Hee Jin is known as one of the producers who works on music and creative visuals from the NewJeans group.

V said, Pink Tape album of f(x) is a big inspiration. I contacted him after I recalled that moment.

Prior to working under HYBE, Min Hee Jin was the creative director for SM Entertainment and worked on comeback concepts for groups such as Super Junior, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, and others.

I want to show the other side of my music from my previous work and collaboration is a suitable thing. Our collaboration is carried out productively, by discussing every detail, and the process is very relaxed," he said.

"When I made this solo album, I found the essence of vocals and this makes me feel fulfilled," said V.

Layover's album became the first release of V during his solo career after Jimin, RM, J-Hope, and Suga. In addition to V, another BTS member, Jungkook, also scheduled a solo album in November 2023.
