AMMTC In Labuan Bajo, Police Discuss 10 Transnational Crime Issues
JAKARTA - The National Police and delegations from neighboring countries will discuss 10 transnational crime issues in the 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting On Transnational Crime (AMMTC) activities. The goal is to make the handling maximized.
"To note that the 17th AMMTC will discuss 10 national crime priority issues that are our common concern," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Monday, August 21.
Meanwhile, issues that will be discussed include terrorism, cyber clemency, arms smuggling, wildlife trade and illegal timber.
Then, criminal acts of drug trafficking, money collection, international economic crimes, sea piracy, human smuggling and criminal acts of trafficking in persons or TIP.
In this activity, the 10 ASEAN countries involved are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Then, 3 countries of dialogue and observer countries namely, China, Japan, South Korea, and Timor Leste.
