Batik Air Opens New Flight Route To Chennai South India
JAKARTA - Mid-August this year Batik Air airline opened a new destination route to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, a state in southern India. Batik Batik Corporate Communications Danang Mandala Prihantoro, in an official statement received said that this new route is expected to be a bridge for cultural exchange and a number of other sectors.
"Batik Air, a member of the Lion Air Group, is proud to announce that it will open a new flight route which is expected to be a bridge for cultural, business and tourism exchanges between these two countries," said Danang Mandala Prihantoro, in his official statement, Sunday, August 6.
Batik Air will fly for the first time to Chennai on August 11, 2023 with a direct flight route from Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra to61 International Airport.
Apart from Medan as the largest city in North Sumatra, Kualanamu International Airport is considered the most efficient transit option in western Indonesia to continue flights to Chennai.
"This direct flight, business people and tourists will feel comfortable and easy on the way to attractive destinations in both countries," said Danang.
