Google Immediately Deletes Accounts That Are Not Active For Two Years, Save The Date!

JAKARTA - Google reminds its customers where the company will soon delete an inactive account on December 1, 2023.

This rule will apply to accounts that have not or have not been used and entered into accounts in the last two years. to avoid customer protests, Google will previously notify account owners who are eligible to be removed.

"If your account is deemed inactive, we will send you some reminder emails and your recovery email (if any) before we take any action or delete any account content," Google said in an email to its customers.

"This reminder email will come out at least 8 months earlier any action was taken on your account," he added.

Once Google Accounts are deleted, the associated Gmail address will no longer be used to create new accounts.

Launching BleepingComputer, Tuesday, August 1, in addition to being required to log into a minimum account for the last two years, customers can also maintain account activity status by reading or sending emails and using Google Drive.

Then, customers can download apps from the Play Store, use Google Search, watch YouTube, share photos, or use Sign in with third-party services.

Google also applies exceptions, including on Google Accounts with YouTube activities (channels, videos, or comments), holding gift cards with money balances, which publish apps on the Google Play Store.
