DKI Satpol PP Deploys 550 Personnel To Secure The ASEAN Summit Series Tomorrow

The DKI Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) deployed 550 personnel to secure the Meeting Of Governors and Mayors Of ASEAN Capitals (MGMAC) and ASEAN Mayors Forum (AMF) 2023 activities as a series of ASEAN 2023 Summits.

Arifin said that the security carried out by Satpol PP personnel was in the form of guarding, supervision, patrols and controlling the anticipation of disturbances of peace and public order in locations where the delegates would visit.

"Satpol PP deployed 550 personnel to secure MGMAC and AMF 2023 which will be on duty from July 31 to August 3, 2023," Arifin said in his statement, Monday, July 31.

In carrying out security, the Satpol PP officers also coordinated with elements from the TNI-Polri as well as other security elements involved.

"We are also coordinating with the TNI-Polri and other security measures in carrying out security," continued Arifin.

Arifin appealed to DKI Jakarta residents to participate in maintaining security and public order, especially during the ASEAN Summit series in Jakarta.

For information, the series of ASEAN 2023 Summit (KTT) events in Jakarta will begin tomorrow, namely August 1 and 2, 2023. Their activities include the Meeting of Governors and Mayors of ASEAN Capitals (MGMAC) and the ASEAN Mayors Forum (AMF) 2023.

The MGMAC and AMF will be attended by more than 500 participants, including the governor and mayor of ASEAN state, representatives of local government associations from ASEAN member countries, ASEAN Community Permanent Representatives, partners. cooperation (partners), and other multilateral agencies.
