Attending The APDESI National Working Meeting, Prabowo Asks The Head Of Gotong Royong Village For The Prosperity Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - Minister of Defense and Security (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto attended the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the All-Indonesian Village Government Association (APDESI) which was held in Jambi Province, Wednesday, July 26.

In his remarks, Defense Minister Prabowo emphasized to all village heads (kades) as the closest leader of the people to be able to cooperate with all elements of society.

"We must be determined to maintain national harmony, peace and must be determined to cooperate with all elements to become an Indonesian country to become a just and prosperous country," he said.

Prabowo said that in realizing Indonesia to become a prosperous country, togetherness, unity, gotong royong and there was no fighting against each other.

To make Indonesia a prosperous country, he continued, the nation's wealth should be enjoyed by all Indonesian people. That goal, said Prabowo, requires a common struggle.

He explained that currently the government has a downstream strategy so that all potential natural resources are managed domestically in order to open up job opportunities and prosper the community.

Meanwhile, Jambi Governor Al Haris hopes that the APDESI National Working Meeting can produce creative and innovative ideas and ideas, to encourage the village economy, which will further improve the progress and welfare of the village.

"Of course, while still paying attention to the principles of sustainable development, it means while preserving the environment," he said.

On that occasion, Governor Al Haris said that President Joko Widodo, who was scheduled to attend, had another schedule, namely a working visit abroad. President Joko Widodo was represented by the Indonesian Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto.

The APDESI National Working Meeting in Jambi Province will take place from July 25-27, 2023.

Thousands of village heads throughout Indonesia attended and gathered at Balairung Jambi University (Unja) Mendalo, Muaro Jambi Regency.
