Minister Of ATR: Control And Control Of Land Is The Key To Investment
JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto revealed that controlling and controlling land is the key to investment.
Hadi said control is the key to investment and legal certainty of land rights. This is then supported by the steps taken by the Ministry of ATR/BPN to accelerate the completion of 2,000 Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR).
"Investment will increase and we will maintain legal certainty. The key is control and control of land and space," said Hadi Tjahjanto in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.
The Ministry of ATR/BPN through the Directorate General of Land Control and Control (PPTR) has a function to control, maintain, and ensure that the management of registered land parcels is utilized in accordance with the objectives of granting their rights.
This control also applies to areas where the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) and its Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) are available.
In the 2023 Directorate General of PPTR Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis), the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN revealed strategic issues related to controlling and controlling land and space that need to be accelerated at this time.
These issues include controlling control, ownership, use, and utilization of land, issues related to controlling land rights, changing the function of land, islands, and certain areas, as well as issues related to controlling and controlling space utilization.
"The Directorate General of PPTR in carrying out the functions of controlling and controlling land and space must have the courage to take firm steps, legal steps. I hope that the Head of Division 5 (State Control and Handling of Disputes, ed) and Head of District 3 (Arrangement and Empowerment Division, ed) can carry out the tasks given by the state," said Hadi Tjahjanto.

Meanwhile, the Director General (Dirjen) of PPTR of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Dwi Hariyawan said that the background for organizing the Rakernis this year, some of which are the need for cooperation and collaboration between the Directorate General of PPTR and related ministries/agencies, as well as the need for monitoring and evaluation of PPTR progress both at the central and regional levels.
"The purpose of this Rakernis is to monitor and evaluate performance achievements, especially up to the second quarter. Equating the perception of tasks, so that program implementation can run effectively and efficiently in accordance with the strategic plan of the Ministry of ATR/BPN)," said Dwi Hariyawan.
