Two Minors Of Johar Baru Central Jakarta Involved In Persecution, Victims With Epilepsy
JAKARTA - Three teenagers who bullied men with special needs in Johar Baru who were secured with the initials RS (15), FR (15) and RD (18). Currently, the police are still carrying out the investigation process. It is known, the victim with the initials S had epilepsy and nerves since childhood.
"Regarding the viral case of bullying carried out by a group of teenagers in a man who has special needs due to suffering from epilepsy and nerves since childhood, we as law enforcement officers of the Johar Baru Sector Police will immediately investigate the viral incident," said Johar Baru Police Chief Kompol Rudi Wiransyah, Monday, July 10.
From the results of the investigation, the police found five people suspected of being behind the video. Of the five people, two were minors.
"In accordance with their roles, there are those who record and then someone throws water. Then there are those who try to beat or beat the victim," he said.
The three perpetrators have been arrested at the Johar Baru Police Headquarters. However, the police are still looking for two other perpetrators.
"There are still 2 (perpetrators) that we are looking for from these five groups of teenagers. We will look for 2 more and later we will conduct guidance in the form of mandatory legal reporting. So report obligatoryly to this perpetrator at the Johar Baru Police as a snare for the effect so that this incident does not happen again," he said.

Kompol Rudi said efforts to secure the three perpetrators were an effort to provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators of bullying.
"All police officers will be more aware of bullying problems, especially for victims who have special needs," he said.
Previously, it was reported that a man with special needs became a victim of bullying by a number of teenagers in the Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta. The incident was also recorded by amateur videos by several perpetrators.
Based on the viral video footage, it was seen that the gang of perpetrators approached the victim. They kicked and watered the man with special needs with water. The bullying took place on Saturday, July 8.
