He explained that the suspects were detained in a number of hotels and boarding houses in the Gorontalo City area with different arrest times.
"The community is very helpful in providing information. We collect it based on reports in every 'Friday Curhat' activity. We immediately follow up until we manage to uncover and secure the suspects," he said.
Based on the results of the examination of the victim and the suspect, Ade explained the modus operandi of the suspects by marketing their victims into commercial sex workers (CSWs) to mashers through the smartphone application.
After getting guests, these suspects directed the masher to come to the hotel room.
"Each suspect plays a role in finding guests through an application. When someone is interested and there is already a tariff agreement, the suspects are directed to a hotel room where there are victims, and ready to serve guests who come," he said.
