BMKG Ramakan Hujan Guyur Sumut, West Sumatra Hingga Kaltara Hari Ini
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that heavy rain accompanied by lightning is likely to occur in Aceh Province, North Sumatra (North Sumatra), West Sumatra (West Sumatra) and North Kalimantan (Kaltara) today, Friday 2 June.
The intensity of high rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds can also occur in Jambi Province, South Sumatra, Lampung, West Kalimantan, North Kalimantan.
Furthermore, East Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, West Papua, Papua, Riau, and Riau Islands also have the opportunity to face similar weather conditions.
BMKG also said that several provinces have the opportunity to experience strong winds with speeds of more than 45 km per hour, namely Aceh, South Sumatra, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua.
According to the BMKG, the presence of cyclonic circulation and convergence areas increases the potential for rain cloud growth in parts of Indonesia along the cyclonic circulation area and convergence areas.
